Opportunities in Christian Formation

Women's Spirituality
    Women's Spirituality is a group of women who meet monthly on the First Friday to enjoy intelligent conversations pertinent to current issues in the contemporary church. Camaraderie, special guests, lively discussions, and even luscious desserts are "perks" making this a most worthwhile way to spend a lunch hour. Come occasionally or come each month! Separated and Divorced Catholics
    Bishop Hying talks about separated and divorced Catholics and how we as a Church are called to love and support those going through marital difficulties. Watch the video.

Book Cart Exchange
We have a book cart to share our books with one another. Our Give a Book, Take a Book cart will be located in the north meeting room during the week and in the Atrium on Sundays. 

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
Are You or Is Someone You Know Interested in Becoming Catholic?
    Each year at the Cathedral adults are welcomed into the Catholic Church through the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults). You are welcome to join us as we set out on the journey to know God through knowing each other and growing in faith. If you just want to learn more about the RCIA process, or are ready to become Catholic, please contact Pat Wisialowski, Cathedral Pastoral Associate, by calling 414/276-9814, ext. 3119.

Catholic East Elementary is a vibrant, diverse, Christ-centered school that has educated children in K4 through Grade 8 for more than 25 years.

Catholic East is built on solid foundation of the parish schools that preceded it in the past 100 years: SS. Peter and Paul, Holy Rosary, Old Saint Mary, St. Rita, St. Mary of Czestochowa, St. Casimir and the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist.

Young Adult Ministry
    MYAM is a rapidly growing group that provides an opportunity for young adults in the Milwaukee area to connect and to grow in faith by fostering Christian life through social, formation, and service events. For more information follow this link: Young Adult Ministry.

East Side Child & Youth Ministry
    East Side Child & Youth Ministry is a collaborative effort of four east side parishes. It was formed in 1986 to provide religious education to young people.

ESCYM offers the following programs and services:

High School Confirmation preparation
Christian Initiation Program for children

Social activities for youth
