Christmas break begins this week for Cathedral – no prayer on 12-22. Returning 12-29.

No Prayers for Reconciliation and Healing of Racism this week – December 22, 2017 – due to the Cathedral’s offices closing at noon.

Prayers will begin again on Friday, 12-29 at 12:15 PM.

May it come soon
to the hungry
to the weeping
to those who thirst for your justice,
to those who have waited centuries
for a truly human life.
Grant us the patience
to smooth the way
on which your Kingdom comes to us.
Grant us hope
that we may not weary
in proclaiming and working for it,
despite so many conflicts,
threats and shortcomings.
Grant us a clear vision
that in the hour of our history
we may see the horizon,
and know the way
on which your Kingdom comes to us.

A prayer from Nicaragua in Bread of Tomorrow (ed. Janet Morley)

Join us in person at the Cathedral Fridays at 12:15 PM for this 30 minute communal contemplative prayer with the intention of reconciling and healing racism in our city.
