Thomas Hunt

Tom graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Therapy and a Minor in Geography. Tom received his Certificate for Pastoral Services from St Francis Seminary 2000 and ordained to the Permanent Diaconate by Archbishop Rembert G Weakland, O.S.B that same year. Tom was granted his preaching faculty in 2002 and faculty to witness marriages in 2005. Along with this Tom was certified by the American Catholic Correctional Chaplains’ Association in 2006. This certification as a Catholic Correctional Chaplain is under the authority if the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and under the ACCCA Certification standards and procedures approved by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Commission on Certification and Accreditation.
    Upon ordination, Tom was assigned and served the community of SS Peter and Paul Parish for the last 8 years in social justice areas. Tom also assists the Archbishop and Bishops here at the Cathedral as well as Bishop Sklba as his master of ceremony for confirmations.
    Tom has been employed for over 28 years at Hydro-Flo Products, Inc.
