Une Soirée Française

The Cathedral of St, John the Evangelist will host the 2^nd annual “An Evening in Paris, Une Soirée Française” a French Dinner celebration Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 6:30 P.M. The dinner coincides with the Bastille Days Festival, this year celebrating its 30^th Anniversary. 

The five-course dinner will be prepared by the great chefs of The Pfister Hotel, under the design of Master Chef Robert Ash.  Fine French Wines will be selected by Sommelier Ben Christiansen of Waterford Wine Company for tasting during the welcome reception held in the  in the Cathedral’s courtyard prior to dinner, and for serving with the various dinner courses. Authentic French Music will be performed by Trio Du Monde.

The dinner will follow the traditional French language Mass in the Cathedral at 5:15 P.M. (for the general public), with reserved seating for dinner guests, if desired.

Tickets are priced at $150.00 per person. This includes the five course dinner with beverages, choice of French wine and valet parking. Individual Dinner Tickets will be available for purchase June 1, 2011 online here or by phone at the Parish Office 414/276-9814.

Proceeds of the French Dinner support the mission and all ministries of the Cathedral Parish, including Fine Arts programming, Human Concerns ministries and the preservation of the historic Cathedral buildings. $50.00 per ticket is a tax deductible contribution.
