St. John Tour Guides

If you are interested in art, history, and hospitality, and would like to share the beauty of our Mother Church, we invite you to volunteer as a Tour Guide for the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist.

As a Tour Guide, training is provided, and the schedule of tours is flexible based on the availability of each volunteer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Open and close the Cathedral for tours.
  2. Welcome visitors and share the hospitality rules of the Cathedral.
  3. Assist throughout the year and in events of high visitors, including Bastille Days in July and Doors Open Milwaukee in September.

Desired skills include a love of history and art, and a willingness to serve as an Ambassador of the Cathedral. Excellent communication, organization, and hospitality skills are also preferred.

Los Guías Turísticos de San Juan

Si le interesan el arte, la historia y la hospitalidad, y le gustaría compartir la belleza de nuestra Iglesia Madre, le invitamos a ser voluntario/a como Guía Turístico/a en la Catedral de San Juan Evangelista.

Como Guía Turístico/a, recibirá la capacitación necesaria; además, el horario de los tours es flexible y se adapta a la disponibilidad de cada voluntario/a.

Deberes y Responsabilidades:

  1. Abrir y cerrar la Catedral para los tours.
  2. Dar la bienvenida a los visitantes y compartir las normas de hospitalidad de la Catedral.
  3. Prestar servicio a lo largo del año y durante eventos de gran afluencia de visitantes, incluyendo Bastille Days en julio y Doors Open Milwaukee en septiembre.

Entre las habilidades deseables se incluyen el amor por la historia y el arte, así como la disposición para servir como Embajador/a de la Catedral. También se recomienda contar con  excelentes habilidades de comunicación, organización y hospitalidad.
