Item of the Week

Our parish contributes requested items to the Cathedral Open Door Café, Father Gene’s Help Center, and the Kinship Community Food Center at weekend masses.

On behalf of our community, thank you so much for your continued generosity!

Date and items to bring for Open Door Café:

April: Belts (unisex), Shoes (adult sizes, gently used or new), Umbrellas and Raincoats (any size).

May: Men’s and Women’s underwear (new), Men’s and Women’s shoes (new or like new), Backpacks, Umbrellas or ponchos (any size), Bus passes.

Open Door Café is in substantial need of volunteers to help with clean up after lunch service from 12:30 to 1:30 PM, Sunday to Friday.

Date and items to bring for Father Gene’s Help Center:

April: Men’s underwear and athletic gear (shorts, shoes, loungewear).

May: Men’s athletic gear (shorts, shoes, loungewear), and men’s blue jeans (all sizes).

Date and items to bring for Kinship:

April 26: Cooking and olive oil.

May 03: Tomato and pasta sauce.

May 10: Canned protein (tuna, salmon, etc.).

May 17: Fruit cups and dried fruit (no cans, please).

May 24: Cooking and olive oil.

May 31: Tomato and pasta sauce.
